Search 🔍
button in the Search panel, or
click Search from the top menu of any page.
You need not be a paying member to search members near you.
Searching our entire database, even as a free member, is free!
This full disclosure allows free members to make an intelligent informed decision prior to subscribing.
Search Distance/Location
The Search panel includes:
- A distance menu, for the radius in miles/kilometers you wish to search. Anywhere from 20-60 miles, or more, is common.
- A location menu. If you wish to add a location, click the location drop down menu and select 'Add a City'.
Edit Search Criteria
Your results depend on your search criteria and location selected (default is your designated home).
- To view/alter your search criteria, click Search Edit Search Criteria from the top menu.
- Your search distance and location(s) are shown directly on your home page (Search panel). You may change your distance and select other locations there. To add to or alter your search location(s), click Search Edit Locations from the top menu.
Tips
Your distance selected, location, and search criteria control your matches. A common mistake is to select a search criteria that is too narrow. If you receive few matches, examine your choices to see if any selections can be relaxed:
- Distance: Select the distance in the drop down menu in the home page Search panel. Anywhere from 20-60 miles, or more, is common. (Use a lower number only if you receive sufficient matches.)
- Other Cities: Your home is default. Click Search Edit Locations to add other locations or change your HOME location.
- Search Criteria: To view or modify your search criteria, click Search Edit Search Criteria . Review any criteria that may be too narrow. For example, requiring a partner be between 30 and 32 years old would likely be far too narrow. Select the widest choices that make sense for the most matches.
- Photos-Only: We advise against searching "Photos Only" since over 50% of our membership have none. You can always "Request Photo" to nudge a member to add one.
- Body Type: Be flexible. Don't restrict your selection to one only.
