Token credit for unopened T-mails

Token Refund (Credit) Policy

  • If all T-mails to a recipient remain unread, you may claim a credit 14 days after the first T-mail was sent. A Void button will appear for credit qualifying T-mails on your Details page. (Applies to T-mails sent on/after 5/2016.)
  • You'll receive an automatic T-mail/T-read credit for any member who we later discover is a fake account.

Credits are in Token credits, not dollars.

Redemption Instructions

To review/redeem token credits:

  1. Click the Details button at the top of the home page Membership panel, or visit Profile Membership / Tokens from the top menu.
  2. A Void button will appear for credit qualifying T-mails in the Tokens section. Click Void to void T-mails to this member and redeem tokens used.

You may redeem anytime after the redemption date, in case you wish to give your recipient extra time to read your message(s).

Automatic Refund

Tokens are credited back to you automatically if we discover that a recipient you've contacted (using tokens) is fake (a.k.a. a scam artist), even if read. There's nothing you need to do; we'll credit you automatically and notify you.

Consequence of Voiding a T-mail

  1. Your token charge will be refunded back to your Token bank.
  2. The message(s) you are voiding will be changed to a 'greeting' (readable by any membership level) with its contents replaced with:
[ This message was retracted by the sender because it remained unread over 14 days. If you would welcome communication, however, please reply with an e-mail or free greeting. ]

FAQ

  1. We exchanged messages but never agreed to meet. Can I receive a refund?
We're sorry, but a token refund is only available if your messages remain unread, not in the case the conversation doesn't pan out to a meeting.
  2. I sent one or more messages. Some have been read. However, the member never replied. Can I receive a refund?
We're sorry, but a token refund is only available if your messages remain unread, not in the case that the recipient has not expressed an interest in replying.
  3. My T-mail was read after 14 days. Can I get a refund?
We're sorry, but a token refund is only available if your messages remain unread, not because a recipient was slow to read your message(s).
  4. I used Tokens to read a message ('T-Read') but it didn't pan out. Can I receive I refund?
We're sorry, T-reads are not refundable.

TIPS

Tokens are best when you have a very small number of people to contact and you feel there is a very high probability of a connection/meeting. For most circumstances, subscribers have greater success. Consider these advantages of a subscription:
  • With a subscription, you may contact hundreds of members and there is no per-message nor per-contact charge.
  • Nothing is lost (financially) if a member declines. Members tend to view unsuccessful token communication as "tokens wasted".
  • Our 3-month and longer subscriptions include our Connection Guarantee.
